take me out at the ballpark

yes, that's not an error in the title, i was nearly taken out at the Royals game on Tuesday.



every time we go to a sporting event, my daughter gets so upset when they shoot the t-shirts our way and she doesn't get one.

well.

come t-shirt time at the game and I was like, "stand up on your seat" and my husband is standing up and he's pretty tall and of course I remain seated because well, i'm just lazy like that.

so everyone in our seating area is standing except me and guess who gets smacked upside the head with a t-shirt that seemed as if it fell straight from the stars, yes. me.

and then the guy next to me nearly had the nerve to try to grab it from me. huh! don't think so buddy, i ain't no girly girl from KC. i grew up with 5 brothers. hello! besides the fact this stupid shirt just walloped me in the face. i think the look i gave him, kind of scared him, because he apologized for "reaching my way". that's right buddy.

but now to the game, it wasn't too great, we lost :(

but the new park (Kauffman) was supergreat!!! they added a whole new kids park with a batting cage, kids park, carousel, and putt putt golf. little bit had a great time!
